About me
In our multi-lingual and increasingly globalised world, institutions and companies need to make themselves understood as clearly as possible and cannot afford for their message to be garbled; if your meeting or conference is to be a succesful one, you will require the services of a professional, experienced and confident interpreter with an extensive knowledge of the target audience's language and culture.
I am Davide Dublanc, a native Italian conference interpreter and translator living in Cracow. I hold a degree in translation and interpreting studies from the University of Milan as well as a post-graduate diploma in conference interpreting from the University of Cracow.
From the outset of my career as a freelancer, my skills and constant drive towards self-improvement have earned me several qualifications and awards. In 2004, for example, I passed an exam leading to my inclusion on the Aosta Court list of sworn interpreters and translators and, in 2006, I was awarded the European Commission Leopoldo Costa Prize for young interpreters entering the job market.
As a freelance translator and interpreter, I have worked with a number of agencies, institutions and private clients and also dedicate part of my time to training others; I have been teaching Italian/Polish translation and interpreting as part of the postgraduate study program at the Unesco Chair in Cracow since 2006.
I am the owner of an individual company registered in Cracow, which specialises in translation and interpreting in the following language combinations:
English<>Italian
Polish<>Italian
French<>Italian
All my translations into foreign languages are checked by native speakers who are experts in the relevant field, and I liaise with a number of interpreters living in Poland. For further information please take a look at my website: www.interpreting.pl.
